I'm a UI/UX designer whose journey began in visual design, but my curiosity about the "why" behind every decision—in design and life—has shaped who I am today. (Oh, and I'm passionate about spicy ramen.)

After earning my BFA in Graphic Communications from the University of Houston, I started my career in print media, creating content for multiple magazines. This experience taught me to anticipate audience expectations, manage tight deadlines, and collaborate effectively with international teams across different time zones.

My path then led me into the education and medical sectors, where I expanded into marketing, analytics, user research, and testing. While I enjoyed visual design, I craved something more human-centered—work that would let me influence the entire user experience, making products and services more usable, enjoyable, and accessible.

That's when I discovered UX design, which I describe as creative business systems analysis—the perfect intersection of my analytical nature and design passion. I pursued the Post Graduate Program in User Experience Design at UT and began taking on freelance UI/UX projects.

Now I focus on becoming a skilled UI/UX designer and researcher. My diverse background in marketing, visual design, and customer service gives me unique insight into both user needs and business objectives. I believe exceptional design begins with understanding people deeply—that's what motivates me every day. This journey continues to evolve, and I'm excited to keep learning, growing, and crafting digital experiences that truly matter.
